Even so, it is a size that will extend beyond the strings of the shamisen, but it is still a size that allows you to put it in quite loosely. Perhaps because of its unusual size, it sold out in no time last time, but this is a re-listing after careful consideration. How about using it as a resting box for your precious musical instrument? ........................... ▶It is said that it is generally made of paulownia wood, but if you have any requests such as "I want it made of something other than paulownia wood," we have most furniture woods in stock, so please do not hesitate to order. Mulberry, zelkova, mountain cherry, oak, Yakusugi, etc. Kiri (Paulownia) It is light, soft, and a very characteristic species for wood. It is not used for its main purpose, but it plays a supporting role, and is used on the inside of furniture such as chests of drawers. This is related to the characteristics of the wood. ① Wood contains moisture and air, which does not change even after processing. Therefore, it will subtly deform depending on the season, temperature, and humidity. ② Paulownia wood has a very slight deformation rate, so deformation can be suppressed as much as possible, allowing furniture to be used comfortably all year round. In short, it is thanks to paulownia that chests of drawers can be opened all year round. Although not widely known, wooden furniture will always deform due to climate changes across regions. It is an important species that can accommodate this. Ordinary paulownia has a dull and not very beautiful color, but this time it has been treated to remove lye to make it white so that the instrument stands out.
